How the Application Process Works

  3. Sponsor Alignment
    Approved applications are aligned with sponsors based on industry and impact.

  4. Direct Funding
    Funding is transferred directly from the sponsor to the approved business or verified service provider.

Deedz does not collect or hold grant funds at any time.

  • Approval decisions are final for each cycle

No. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.

All applications are reviewed through a structured, anonymous process. Only those that meet Deedz’s Canada-first criteria and align with sponsor availability are approved.

For initial applications, funding requests are typically capped at $10,000, with Deedz covering up to 70% of the approved amount.

Applicants must be able to contribute the remaining 30%.

Businesses that demonstrate strong progress and compliance may be eligible to apply for higher amounts in the future.

The 30% contribution ensures shared responsibility and commitment.

This model:

  • Encourages responsible use of funds

  • Aligns applicants and sponsors

  • Supports long-term sustainability

Deedz believes growth is strongest when everyone has a stake in the outcome.

Depending on your application, you may be required to submit:

  • A business plan or project outline

  • Financial projections

  • Proof of Canadian residency or incorporation

  • Quotes or invoices (if applicable)

  • A short written statement explaining your impact on Canada

Applications are reviewed within approximately 60 days of the submission deadline.

Applicants are notified by email regarding approval or rejection.

Yes. If your application is not approved, you may apply again in a future funding round after making adjustments or improvements.

A rejection does not mean your idea lacks value — it may simply need refinement or better alignment.
