Funding facilitated through Deedz comes from private sponsors, organizations, and contributors who want to support Canadian businesses in a transparent and ethical way.
No. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding.
All applications are reviewed through a structured, anonymous process. Only applicants that meet Deedz’s Canada-first criteria and align with available sponsor interests are approved.
Applicants who are not approved may apply again in future funding rounds.
Deedz operates through membership-based support from sponsors and partners, as well as aligned contributions that help cover operational costs.
This ensures:
Grant funds are not diluted
Operational costs remain low
Maximum support reaches Canadian businesses
As a not-for-profit organization, Deedz prioritizes directing resources toward Canadian businesses rather than administrative overhead.
Due to high inquiry volumes and fairness considerations, all communication is handled via email or chat.
If an application is not approved:
You will be notified by email
You may be asked to make adjustments
You are welcome to apply again in a future funding round
A rejection does not mean your business lacks value — it means it may not yet align with current criteria or sponsor availability.
Deedz operates in two-month grant cycles.
Applications are reviewed within approximately 60 days of the submission deadline, and applicants are notified by email.
