This policy outlines how Deedz:

  • Measures the outcomes of supported businesses and initiatives

  • Tracks economic and social impact within Canada

  • Communicates results responsibly to sponsors, partners, and the public

  • Protects the privacy and dignity of all participants

Impact reporting is not about publicity — it is about proof of purpose.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All grant recipients approved through Deedz

  • Sponsors and partners receiving impact summaries

  • Deedz internal review and governance processes

Impact reporting requirements apply only to approved recipients, not applicants.

Frequency

  • Reporting may be requested periodically or on a milestone basis

  • Deedz reserves the right to request updates at reasonable intervals

Reporting requirements are designed to be proportionate, not burdensome.

Verification & Validation

To maintain credibility, Deedz may verify reported impact through:

  • Supporting documents

  • Employment records (where appropriate)

  • Invoices or proof of expenditure

  • Virtual or in-person check-ins (where lawful and appropriate)

Failure to cooperate with reasonable verification requests may be treated as non-compliance.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Deedz prioritizes privacy in all impact reporting.

  • Individual business details are not published without consent

  • Public reporting is typically aggregated and anonymized

  • Sensitive business information is shared only on a need-to-know basis

  • All data is handled in accordance with Deedz’s Privacy Policy and PIPEDA

Participation in public storytelling or case studies is optional, never mandatory.
